    Update time.

Since the last post, Bryan and I have this truck ready to start some real work. You guys may have already seen the bed being cleaned out, removing the bed and removing the front clip to get ready to remove the engine and trans. That is where this post is going to start.

Shortly after pulling the front clip, I went out to do some tractor work and decided to shoot a video on how to stiffen up the 3 point lever on a John Deere 1025R. I decided it was too bright outside and I was going to pull the tractor inside to do the video with artificial light for a better picture. Problem was, I needed to do some minor cleaning to get it in there. Not a big deal, yes I was a little sore from cleaning out the bed but nothing I hadn't dealt with before.

I bent down to pick up a roll of rubber they put under large rolls of paper in a big truck (semi, tractor-trailer, large car, whatever you want to call it) that I had saved when company left them in my trailer. I never even got my hands on the roll when my lower back completely locked up and put me on the ground instantly. I have had back pain before, hell I have lived with it since I was 16, but this time was different. This felt like someone shoved a knife into my lower back. It was bad.

I managed to make it to the house thanks to my improvised walker (a dolly, or hand truck) and I laid in bed for days because of the pain. Lots of heat which helped a LOT and that thermocare (I think) heat wrap is absolutely amazing. My wife pulled it out of the package and the friggin thing looked like a diaper lmao. But that night my back relaxed while I was sleeping and I rolled over and my backed popped and some of the pain went away. That was an awesome feeling.

So fast forward a week or so and I'm actually able to get around. I still have a little bit of a hard time walking around stores and I'm pretty paranoid every time I have to bend over to pick something up. I pretty much take a knee and pick it up that way now. I do not want to go through that crap again...

Thankfully, as stated before, Bryan and I have made multiple videos every time he was out here and we had videos uploaded and ready to publish for about 3 weeks. Well, that deadline is now up and we have no more videos because I just cant' get around that well. Last weekend (I guess about a week ago now) he was out here and we did get the engine and trans pulled out of the truck. Again, we used the tractor to pull it. The video we shot on this is absolutely horrible and I dont' think we are going to post the video on pulling the engine. I'm still not decided on that yet though. I may find a way to piece something together.

So there is a very short explanation of where I have been and why there have not been many posts made on here (among other reasons). I have a very hard time sitting in this computer chair, but again, that is getting easier as well. So I'm going to start working on the truck again soon. More on that in another post. I just wanted to fill you all in on what has been going on with this truck.
