So in regards to the POS Rogue. When ever it gets cooler out my engine knocks until its warmed up. I was told this is normal for Nissan by both my mechanic and the POS dealership in VA. Any ideas on if this is a normal or abnormal issue? To me its abnormal. I don't know what would cause it.

More than likely it is a lifter knock. The oil is so thick that the lifters can't 'pump up' fast enough until the oil gets warm and thinner. As long as it is not a lower end knock it should be fine. You can try running lighter weight oil (5w30 or even 0w30) and see if that helps but you do run a risk of it being too thin.
