    Yea, the slider was keeping the pads from centering and was causing the outside pad to always be rubbing. I would be interested in just how hot that rotor was while driving lol. It had to be hot as hell. But what matters is that you have new brakes on the rear of that car now and you know they are done correctly.

    I hope I did. All I know is that I have better stuff than what the dealer gave me. Now to solve the knock.

    I hope maybe the sea foam treatment cures some of it.

    It might. 250 miles before your next oil change, put a half can in your oil. The gas treatment is not going to do anything for a lifter knock unfortunately. It will clean out your injectors though as well as your pump so you will need to do a fuel filter change on your next oil change as well.

    That's what i ment to do, the oil treatment for the knock.

    It usually works very well. Just don't run over 250 miles with it in your oil.

    Hopefully next week ill be able to begin the cleaning of the oil system.
